This year's Jimmy Fund Walk to benefit Dana Farber Cancer Institute will be on Sunday, September 22nd. This event has become our hockey program's adopted charity over the past five years. As is the case with many families and groups, cancer has sadly affected our hockey family in many ways over the years, rocking families and taking fathers and mothers too soon. Every year, we encourage players to walk the 13.1 mile route as a team and it's been a wonderful experience for a great cause. We would love to have parents, siblings, and friends join us as well. This is not a "hockey only" event. Participation for our players is optional, but if you or any friends or family are interested in walking, please go to our TeamTara home page and click on "Join Our Team." You will be placed on our team email list and receive updates from there.
